Hi @consultasbarcos ,
Do you have this problem in all drawings? Even in newly created?
Have you checked the text height in the dimension style?
If it is a specific drawing, can you share it here?
I have discovered that if I switch to an SHX font, the text is visible. I think the problem is with TTF fonts. They are installed on the system, but AutoCAD 2026Lt does not recognize them. However, they work with version 2025.
I have even set GPUTEXT2D to 0, and it still does not work.
Hi @consultasbarcos ,
What TTF font (which is invisible) do you use in the Text Style for Dimension style?
What Mac model do you have?
>>>> MacBook Pro (M1), with Tahoe 26.0.1
That is really strange.
The text is not visible in sizes, but if you create regular text - it is visible. Did I understand correctly?
Can you attach here one of your drawings where dimension text is not visible?
Hi @consultasbarcos ,
I think there could be a problem with AvantGarde BT fonts you are using for text style:
Have you tried to change them to another TTF font (not SHX, but TTF), for example to Arial?
There is another system variable you can try to change - DTTEXT
Try to set it to 0 (zero)
Hi @consultasbarcos ,
You wrote that in the 2025 version you can see text created using TTF fonts.
What settings do you have on this tab of AutoCAD Preferences?
>>>>>But i don´t find this option in 2026 version
Yes, this option was deprecated in 2026 version.
Metal Graphics engine in AutoCAD should work fine on MacBook Pro with M1 chip. It is really strange that you have this problem on your Mac.
I just found a solution. I reset AutoCAD 2026 but didn't import the settings from AutoCAD 2025, and now the text is visible.
Thank you very much for your time and help.
