CTB changes not saving

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

I am using a CTB I created, and currently  I need to print some elements in various colors. In the past I have just got to the plot style table manager and changed the colors I want to be printed from black to a chosen color. For the past 2 days these changes have not been saved. I look at the CTB and it says the last time it was modified was 2 days ago.

As an example, I would like to change color 40 to print from black to dark yellow. I change from black to 40 and then I press SAVE & CLOSE. Only, it never closes. I have tried SAVE AS and created a new CTB but it does not work either.
I am working on a AUTOCAD MAC 2020, but I have also tried going back to 2018 with no avail.

Please help.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Richard,

Are you on macOS Catalina?
I'm on Mojave and I'm able to "save as" customized CTB file inside
~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2020/R23.1/roaming/@en@/Plotters/Plot Styles
folder and then use it.

Hello Maxim

Yes, I am on Catalina.

I have tried doing a save as and replacing the CTB but the changes are still not being saved.

Just did that and it still shows like the last modification was done on December 9.

And when I go looking for my change, it does not appear.

Why you replace?
If you Save As, you can (should) give it new name. Then just pickup this newly created CTB for your Page Setup.
Have you tried to save under new name?
In my case I saved as with new name.

Hi @713peekaboo ,

This topic is quite old.
Can you describe your problem in more detail.
How do you change the color in the print style sheet?
Also list the versions of AutoCAD and macOS installed on your Mac.
