Cropping images into circles/CLIPIT command

Are there any alternatives to the CLIPIT command for autocad mac? I need to crop an image into a circle but do not know how.

CLIP command's Polygon option not working? Or SELECT POLYLINE option, where you select a close-to-a-circle shape? A polygon (aka a polyline that is closed) with a 100 or a 1000 sides is close enough of a circle, unless your intent is to create a 40-footx25foot billboard at eye level with the final result.

BTW - Express Tools CLIPIT command on PC uses the same "workaround" as @pendean suggested:

"CLIPIT makes clipping to curved boundaries possible by traversing arc segments with a series of short straight segments"
