Blocks NOT MOVING TO correct layer

Most of my blocks and dynamic blocks seem not be moved to the correct layer.

When. I select a block and choose 'move to layer' the block remains in the same layer although when selected it shows that IT IS in the correct layer. BUT when toggling visibility it does not disappear or reappear. It does when toggling the visibility from the previous layer where it used to live. This suggests it is still there.

Any advice is welcome

Hi Peeters,

Do you mean the objects inside block are not moved to another layer?
If yes, then they shouldn't be moved, because "Move to layer" just moves block insertion to new layer, but not objects inside block.

The problem was that I did not practice good block management and didn't create all the blocks in layer 0!

I have now redrawn some of the blocks, cleaned everything up including the block libraries and everything is working fine.

Just illustrates how important it is to utilize proper workflows. My bad.
