AutoCAD LT Command Preview Box Doesn't Recognize Arrow Key Input

Im using AutoCAD LT 2022 for mac. I have a problem that no one else in my office can seem to figure out and it only happening on my computer. When typing in a command such as m for move, or even misspelled, I will arrow key down to the command I actually want and press enter. However, it doesn't recognize that I arrowed down to select a command, and instead will enter on whatever was typed in, and it will prompt that the command doesn't exist. This does not happen on any other computer in the office other than mine and we are all stumped as to what is causing it to not select the command that is highlighted. I've attached screenshots for more clarity.

Hi @laurengBKWZA ,

What Mac model do you have?

Do you use an external of build-in keyboard?

Do you have any keyboard manager installed?

Have you tried to use mouse (move it to the correct command name and click) instead of using arrow keys and Return?

@maxim_k

it is a 2015 Macbook Pro. It looks like using mouse click and spacebar seems to select the correct prompt, but using the enter key doesn't. I use an external keyboard which I'm thinking is having an issue with the AutoCAD Mac software, even though it says it is usable for Windows and Mac. I am thinking it is just a keyboard issue at this point.

Thanks!
