XREFOVERRIDE for selected xref's.

XREFOVERRIDE for selected xref's.

We have two offices, one electrical and one mechanical.

We use xrefs of our own on our electrical drawings, as well as xrefs from the mechanical engineers, which we lay beneath our drawings.

We first put in the mechanical xref, and force all the layers to the same color which prints as a light background for us to place our electrical on.

We must often xrefoverride the mechanical drawings, because they often assign colors to individual objects properties.

This prevents us from being able to do the same with our xrefs, because xrefoverride affects all xrefs in the drawing at once.

It would be nice if xrefoverride was not a drawing property, but an object property you can turn on and off within the properties panel of each individual xref in a drawing.

Then we could assign colors all we like to objects in our own drawings used as xrefs, and still be able to override the background mechanical xrefs.

This would help greatly limit the number of layers we have per drawing, too. (We sometimes have hundreds.)
