I usually start a new schematic symbol as a rectangle or circle, etc., on the drawing, over the wires, where it will be used, so I have a good perspective with regard to the size of the symbol graphics and the location of wire connections and attributes. This is similar to the workflow of WD_SYM_BUILD. I capture this graphics, along with the wires, when I start Symbol Builder. I capture the wires because I need to know where the wire connections are located, since the new Symbol Builder takes me away from my drawing and into Block Editor. Just before I save the new symbol, I delete the wire layers. When I save the new block, Symbol Builder offers to allow me to insert the new symbol into my drawing. However, Symbol Builder doesn't remove the original graphics on the drawing, where I started, so I have the insert the new symbol somewhere else on the drawing, delete the original "dumb" graphics, and then move my new symbol into place. This wastes time and makes Symbol Builder appear incomplete. Please remove the graphics that I selected to begin the symbol off of the schematic drawing so it is out of the way when I click to insert the new symbol.
