It can get tedious to do the "show connections" when wiring. Those of us that mouse with our left hand can't easily hit x-space quickly, not to mention the green x's disappearing when you pan or zoom. I propose that the green x's are in each symbol on a separate, non-plotting layer that can be turned on and off. The symbol builder would put in the graphics when creating new symbols. It would also be handy to have a migration tool that could go into a symbols folder and add the graphics for all of the X?TERM attributes it finds in symbols.
