Wire not connecting straight

Hi,

I have been having trouble with trying to get the wire to connect straight across.

Any advice would be a great help?

is this a setting issue?

Thanks,

Josh

What is your Drawing Properties set to?
Seems like a imperial/metric units issue...

Normally, you'll get that 45 degree wire if there's already a wire connected to the connection point.
Is there a small piece of wire there?

Run the DWG Audit to remove zero-length wires...

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, here is my current setup.

I ran the audit and the main issues were source and destination issues, but a handy tool thanks for showing me that feature.

Are you working in inches or mm ?
If inches, you must change to this:

If mm, you have a lot of changes to do....

Would it be possible for you to attach the DWG here, so I could take a look at it?

Hi,

Thanks, its a bit of a disaster at the moment because I was playing around with the wire layer colors to get it to print in black.

I appreciate your help.

Looking at the drawing and your comment about using mm and A3 you might want to make sure you're using IEC libraries and perhaps start with the IEC demo project.

Best regards,
Jeff
