Hello,

We keep having problems with attributes randomly moving position or could be justification. We can rung title block update (open each page) to fix the date but the sheets we have to do a update block on the relevant pages. Has anyone else come across this?

You can trying setting it to the lock position and see if stays put.  You will possibly have to do a attribute sync afterwards, depending on how you go about it.

This has happened to me a few times.. I've found that if I update the titleblock dwg it resets the attribute positions...

  • Under Components-> Component/Miscellaneous-> Swap/update block-> Option B/ select Update a Block ->ok
  • Select your titleblock
  • Navigate to the source template "dwg" (not .dwt) ->ok
  • Make sure the copy old blocks attributes to new swapped block is selected -> Yes, copy all, old to new
  • You can test your dwg(s) -> select either Active dwg or Project ( try active dwg first to see if this method works for your dwg )... if it does you could re-run and update all dwgs in your project this way if there are others to fix...
Hope this helps!
Omar

This happens a lot if you have font substitution happening.
When you open the file and immediately press the F2 key, to see the command line history, is it saying "substituting xxx for yyy" somewhere there?

I guess this is the problem. The text/attribute justifications saved in the drawing are for the font defines in the iso8 text style. That justification does not automatically work with the substituted font.

Type STYLE on the command line, and check what font that is used for the ISO8 text style.

Try to get hold of that font, and install it onto your system.
