Update AutoCAD ecscad 2012

Hello,

I have the following problem:

on the one computer is AutoCAD ecscad 2012 SP! Version 9.1.0.2 installed

on the other one is AutoCAD 2012 installed.

When I save a Drawing as backup from the first computer, I cannot open (restore) it from the other computer. Because the drawing was created with a newest Version of AutoCAD.

I already tried to installed the patch:

the https://knowledge.autodesk.com/de/support/autocad/downloads/caas/downloads/downloads/DEU/content/aut...

But there was a Error that the Product doesn't exist.

My question: Can you send me a Update or what can I do?

Best regards

Mikolaj Majchrzak

There is no difference in the DWG files created with 2012 and 2012+SP1.

Something else is going on.

Can you post the files here and any screenshots with the exact error messages?

>>>...save a Drawing as backup...<<<
What does that mean? Explain your exact process.

And are you sure the version is no 2013 that you got the file from?

Hello,

Today I will try to get all Information as Screenshot together.

But I'm pretty sure it is at once the Autocad 2012 (Version 9.0) and on the other one Autocad 2012 SP1 (Version 9.1)

Best regards

Hi,

>> But I'm pretty sure it is at once the Autocad 2012 (Version 9.0) and on the other one Autocad 2012 SP1 (Version 9.1)

Version "9.0" or "9.1" are no AutoCAD release numbers, so I guess it's a release information from ECS-CAD ... so the question about "drawing saved with a newer version" ==> is that a message from AutoCAD or from the add-on ECS-CAD? (a screenshot of that exact message could be helpful)

Hi,

and here you can see also the version too, and the "error code", it means "the online database cannote be open because it was created with a newest version".

Hope it helps a little bit

Best regards

Hi,

I can only repeat to write that version 9.0 and 9.1 are no AutoCAD release numbers (Vanilla AutoCAD).

It needs now someone (your reseller?) who knows the product and who can support you with the ECS-CAD update (or service pack).

Hi at all.

ecscad was a product of Autodesk till Oktober 2013, Last Release there was AutoCAD ecscad 2014R2, please have closer look at the new crew behind the actual Version ecscad 2017 http://www.ecscad.info and http://www.cadmesse.de/programm/bereich/elektrotechnik-und-anlagenbau-4 or contact me for supporting you directly under ecscad@mum.ch

kind regards
