Text appears light and grayed out when plotted and in drawing/layout

Hello,

I was plotting drawings maybe a week ago just fine, black where needed and everything, however I found out yesterday that my prints were not coming in color but rather lightened out, as if the printer was running low on ink, however some lines were solid, it seems to only effect my text.
Now it seems to have not only effected my prints, now the drawings them selves show grayed out text.
I did not change any settings between the time of me printing fine, and now.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

NOTE: My properties are set to be transparent

I believe there's some font substitution going on here.

Type CONFIG on your command line, and make sure the active font mapping file is ACAD.FMP and not ACADE.FMP:

Yes.

The acade.fmp should only be used by the AEPUBLISH command when font substitution is turned on.

Well on that note, does this image have any relevance of my issue , this is my command prompt.

I appreciate your responses in aiding me.

Yes. All you r text stlye, using the fonts SIMPLEX.SHX and TXT.SHX are substituted with the truetype version of those fonts.
And, the truetype versions of those font are causing the thin/light texts in your printouts.

Thank you for your help, it has helped me learn just a bit more about AutoCAD Electrical, I appreciate it.
Have a good one. Changing the ACADE.FMP to ACAD.FMP was the solution I needed.

Good morning I had a couple questions regarding the worksheets that are created in fabrication CADMEP, I am using existing worksheets which I would like to get my text to print darker and I would like to consolidate both worksheets into one. Any and all suggestions and help is welcome.

Thanks

Mike

Worksheets? Like in Excel?

I'm not sure what you're asking.

I'm sorry I was following up on that similar topic for Fabrication CADMEP worksheet. When I print out the worksheet the pictures come out dark but the tags and numbers inside are very light,

What font are you using for these tags/numbers? And, you are publishing using AutoCAD Electrical?

The "normal" problem for this with AcadE, is that you're using TrueType fonts. Are you using TrueType fonts in your worksheet?

This program is relatively new to me so I'm not quite sure how to check that

Also.. Is it just in a PDF the texts are too light? Or on a paper copy as well?

Have you tried a different PDF viewer if it's just in the viewer?
