Losing mfg/cat when importing from excel , changing "Terminal item numbers"
I started a new "test" project with (1) double stack terminal, exported to excel, changed my item number, imported from excel, and the manufacturer/catalog information was lost.
I was getting ready to post this problem but did a web search first and found this thread, "solved".

Sorry to say, but this issue still exist in 2021, been fighting this for several days (lots of terminals).
Pat's solution in the previous thread works, but the problem still exist
