rectangle , edit dialogue box issue

Hi all

How can I solve this?

When I draw a simple curve, line, circle and then edit (doble click) dialog box is "normal"

but with rectangle is different.

I found similar with open and save as... and was solved with FILEDIA=1

and for edit box?

A Circle and a Line are AutoCAD entities. A rectangle is not an entity but simply a polyline.
If you double-click a polyline the PEDIT command is triggered. This is standard behaviour.

OK, rhesusminus

thankU

it is extrange, because is not a "tipical" methode to edit objects.

(in general for all programs the same edit box is for all objects  Smiley Very Happy  )

I am learning ACADE for a 1-2 months and think that it includes excesive ACAD tools for a "simple" wire editing program. Not as fast or efficient as it could be but good software.  Smiley Very Happy

If you change QPMODE to 2, as mentioned by @pendean , the quick properties palette will appear as soon as you SELECT an object. No double-click needed.
This will also give you the quick properties palette when selecting a rectangle.
