Outputting data from a drawing file created in inventor

Hi there,

I am currently using AutoCAD Electrical 2019 and someone has sent me a drawing file which was not created using ACADE. I am looking to output attributes 'TAG' and 'NO' to an excel file. I have tried running the export to spreadsheet command and it outputs the data from the 'TAG' attribute but does not appear to output the data from the 'NO' attribute.  Is it because ACADE is not recognising the name of the 'NO' attribute as the drawing file was created using another program. Can someone please advise how I can export this attribute to excel.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Please see attached drawing file. The attout command is allowing me to output a txt file with the data from the components. I then convert it to an xls file. However I am having to select each individual component in the drawings. Is there a way to select all the components from multiples drawing at once?

Thanks.

when you use this command (ATTOUT), there is way to select all items, see link below for more details. See attached file I have done by selecting all. Not sure about the multiple drawing selection but you can select all items from a drawings.
