AutoCAD Electrical Catalog database

Hi, I am new to the AutoCAD Electrical. I was trying to draw PLC (Productivity 2000 series from AutomationDirect), but the catalog database contains products from a few companies as shown in the photo. For your information, I signed up my account by using my student email account and the version is the AutoCAD Electrical 2018, if these help. Also, I am not only missing PLC products in the catalog, but also lots of other products in the catalog. I tried reinstalled the software just in case. If anyone has an idea what's causing this, please let me know.

Only a few manufacturers are included in a default install. However, you can add more via Add/Remove Programs in Windows. Just go through the steps as if you're going to uninstall, when you see the option to 'modify', choose that. After that, at some point, you'll be offered the chance to add manufacturers.

Note that in previous versions of the software, doing this sometimes wouldn't actually change the catalog. When that happened, we had to do a reinstall of the software and choose the manufacturers for the catalog during that process.

Also note that not every manufacturer exists in the catalog. In addition, these catalogs haven't had a significant update since their inception over a decade ago. Be prepared to see that some manufacturers, and/or some product lines, aren't in there. In those cases, you're left to add new entries to the catalog on your own. There are instructions in HELP for doing that.
