Hi there,
Not sure about 2019 but up to 2017 you would right click on the active project in the Project Manager. In the Project Properties window select the Styles tab and you will see a few selections.
Good luck
it did not work. you might not know what im talking about. this is what im seeing, i dont want these circles on the ends. if you know how to get rid of them, thank you.
Hi there,
The issue may be in the AutoCAD (not ACE) settings. They are suppose to be rings, your scale has got them way to big. Here is a screen shot of one schematic. The first shot it looks like dots, but zoom in and you can see they are rings. With 2017 the selection is DOT (which is really several rings) or NONE.
Good luck
This is a scaling problem...
Go to your Project Properties and expand the Schematic Libraries entry to find out what library you are using.
Most likely you are using a metric based library from the screen shot you posted.
If the library used is correct, then go on to the scale settings.
If you need to change the library to match the standard you are trying to draw in, select the current library and then click browse.
Now select the directory that matches the standard that you are using.
AS for Australian, IEC for Europe, JIC for the North American standards and so on.
Click OK and make sure that it is now showing in the list. Move it up to the second position to make sure that ACADE finds it first.
At this point it is wise to create a library for any custom blocks you create.
Do this by clicking on Add and then Browse. In the same directory as the other libraries, click on Make New Folder and label it Custom (or something similar). Click OK with the new directory highlighted.
Move this to the First entry in the schematic libraries list.
Now when you modify or create a block, save them here. ACADE will find them before any block in the main library.
SCALE SETTINGS
Now find the Drawing Format tab.
In the Scale section (Halfway down on the RH side) make sure the Feature Scale Multiplier is set to 1
Select the correct scaling to suit the library you need to use. Inch for JIC and other imperial standards MM Full Size for IEC or metric based libraries.
Click OK to save and exit the Project Settings.
Now go to the Project Manager and select ALL the dwgs. Right Click one of the dwgs and then go to Properties and select 'Apply Project Defaults'. This will apply all the project settings to the all the dwgs.
Now try drawing a wire between two rungs. The dots should now come in at the correct scale.
