Make schematic Text bolder

Hi, 

Whenever I use the Publish> Publish to PDF/DWF/DWFx (via right-click on project) for a mulitsheet pdf file, The schematic always seems much lighter than if I use Print>Plot which makes seeing the decimal point or other things difficult to read. I think the lines are fine, more so the text which isn't as bold as we would like.

When using Print>Plot, I tick Plot Object Line weights in Plot options but using the Publish> Publish to PDF/DWF/DWFx doesn't allow me to select to plot object line weights. I have ticked the option via PAGESETUP, and when I choose that setup through the Publish option, it still doesn't make a difference.

I am currently using WD_IEC style font across schematic, so maybe I should change that? If this is the issue, any links as to how to do this globally?

I have checked the .fmp file and it shows romans;RomanS_IV50.TTF

and also i have made AEPDFFONTALT = OFF

To fix the faded text issue when publishing a multi-sheet PDF in AutoCAD Electrical, the most reliable solution is to globally change your font from an SHX font (like romans) to a TrueType font (like Arial), or properly map your Page Setups within the Publish dialog.

Thanks for the advice, is there a way to globally change the font? As the current font is same across wire numbers, colour/gauge labels, component descriptions, component terminal numbers etc. Is there a way to change all these at once, or would I have to go into each component to change the font style of those separately?

Yes, you can globally change all your fonts at once rather than editing each component individually. Since your labels share uniform properties, they are likely grouped under a single Text Style (often named "WD" or a variation), or are controlled globally by your software settings.
