How to copy Layers from a Drawing to another?

How can I copy a set of layers from one drawing file on AutoCAD to another? In other words, duplicate the layers?

One way is to insert the drawing into the desired drawing as a block and then delete the block. That will add all layers.

There is an Import button in the Create/Edit Wire Type dialog box.
