deleting ladders

I have added a ladder in Autocad Electrical 2022. then deleted it.

When I open the modify line reference number dialog the dialog still shows the ladder.

it is no longer shown in the drawing. If I change the rung count to zero click ok and reopen the dialog it shows a rung count of 1. If I change the rung count to 10  it adds 10 rungs to the drawing . I delete it again and same thing happens

If I renumber the wires it finds the invisible ladder and uses as a reference.

How do I delete the ladder?

It might be something "invisible" in the drawing.

Press CTRL+A when everything is deleted, and check if there are any blue "grips" showing.

If not, maybe you can share the drawing here, and we'll have a look?
