catalog Siemens PLC

Hi everyone,

I've AutoCad  ELECTRICAL 2015,

I've updated my catalog with brand Siemens, but when I insert a PLC module and try to choose from catalog I don't find the PLC Siemens, just only ABB, AB & Telemecanique.

Has someone some suggestion? Talking about PLC  there are only the three brand mentioned before?

thanks a lot!

You need to update your installation program.  Go to Windows Control panel, Programs & Features.

Then select your AutoCAD Electrical installation program, then 'Uninstall/Change' which should take you to 'Add/remove Feature' - included in this is selecting which manufactures you want to add or remove from your installation.

Hope this helps.

For AutoCAD Electrical 2015 the add/remove method tends to not work all the time.

Sadly, in this case I would recommend Uninstalling then re-install with all of the libraries you want to use.

You can try re-intializing it. ( sometimes this works, but honestly it takes less time to re-install)

1. use the "Reset to Default Settings..." tool (make sure the program is working properly)

2. In control panel "add/remove",  select your Libraries

3.  use the "Reset to Default Settings..." tool (to reload the libraries

4. restart the computer, then start the program and check

I hope this helps,
