AutoCAD Error Aborting

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

Since (January) we are using ACE2016. Before January we are using the ACE2014 version.

Since we using ACE2016 we have a lot of internal and fatal errors. For example see attchment.

This error we get when changing or updating a component.

Does anybody recognize this? Does anyone have an idea / solution?

Regards

NOt much to find on that error.

Could it be some add-ins that you have installed?

Type APPMANAGER at the command line, and see if you have some strange add-ins installed.

Does this happen to multiple computers?

Have you tried running a reset? https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to...

Hi,

The apps we have, are only the pre-installed Autodesk apps.

Yes, it happens to more computers.

We have a brand new and clean computer system. After the first errors we have also tried the reset function.

Do you have admin rights with your user on the computer? Can you try to work a little with an admin user?

I have admin rights.

When I want to run as administrator there pop-ups an alert. Alert attached.

This is the path were the .arg file is stored.

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\acad.exe" /language "en-US" /product "ACADE" /p "O:\Autodesk\Acade\Profile\ACADE.arg"

And... O:\Autodesk\Acade\Profile\ACADE.arg actually exists on the server?

If you run with the standard AcadE profile "<<ACADE>>" does it work as expected then?

What OS are you running? Is UAC disabled? How about anti-virus, are you able to disable that for a while, while testing?

It is posible to disable the antivirus for a while.

I would try to work without anti-virus for a while.
Does it happen in all projects?

I would like to try it for a couple of day's.

To protect our systems we have installed Trend Micro Security Agent. We use this anti-virus now for 8 years.

Yes it happens in all projects.

...last friday there pop-ups an another error! See attachment.

This error came when I use the function edit component.

Do you like to receive the details of this error. Wow, it will be a lot of pages.19 pages!

If you press the "Details-button", you usually get an idea of what went wrong from the topmost description.

Was this with anti-virus ON or OFF?
