autocad electrical 2019 could not find catalog database

Not applicable

I went downloaded several of the catalog database vendors and when I open a drawing and click on catalog database I get the following message "Could not find catalog database". I downloaded all the default way but to no avail. I've attached photos of the 2 things that pop up when I click on "Catalog Browser".

Would you check and see if this filepath is in the Options\Files tab under Support File Search Path?

C:\users\{username}\Documents\Acade 2019\AeData\en-US\Catalogs

This is the default filepath for the catalogs.

Double check that this is the location where the catalogs where downloaded.

After some searching, they were downloaded to

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Acade 2018\Libs\panel_mm

And I apologize, it's actually the 2018 version.

If you Right Mouse Click on the Project and select settings, you will see where the database location is.Catalog path.png

My location is different from yours but the highlighted setting is where you will find it.

This is where the database has to be for ACE to see it. This location can be changed by editing the wd.env file which can be found by clicking on "Environment File" in the lower left corner of this dialog box.

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm just checking in to see if you need more help with this. Did the suggestion that @testsubject provided work for you?

I’m still trying to sort it out and have been out in the field. I haven't has too much time to mess with it. I didn't see and couldn't find settings anywhere under Projects. I’m new to AutoCAD Electrical so no that savvy. Will try to mess with it more as soon as i button up this project.

No problem.

When you Right Mouse Click on an existing project, you will get the following list:

Near the bottom is "Settings"

I don't have any existing projects. I was just working on projects from our server. When I click on "New Project", I get a triangle with an exclamation point and no text describing what the error is.
