AcePmComServer Error Report

AutoCad Electrical 2023

On start-up, I receive  this error report. 

-A software problem has caused AcePmComServer to close unexpectedly-

Acade doesn't crash, but inside a project none of the project functions work. i.e. component surfing, BOM reports, Terminal auto numbering.

I've tried un-installing and re-installing acade 2023

No luck.

Any ideas?

i just started having the same problem today. Autocad Electrical 2023.

tired reinstalling also, no luck. sent error report to Autodesk hoping that will help

I think it was due to a MS office update.

Try reinstalling the Access Database components to see if that fixes the issues

With this info I removed "accessdatabaseengine_X64.exe" and re-installed. 

Works.

Yep, seems like the go-to solution these days always begins with Access Database 2016.

I just used the Repair function, seems to have worked.

Interesting note if anyone at Autodesk is noticing this: the message about AcePmComServer Error always came up *behind* my ACADE window (I don't use full screen). But I could tell it was there, a little bit of the error window extended below the ACADE window.

Unfortunately, I have accomplished all of the aforementioned solutions (ie Solutions 1-3) and it has not resolved this problem on my AutoCAD Electrical 2024 version of the software. An Autodesk ticket remains open.
