Hi there, i need to design a spiral staircase to fit into a square space. i cannot figure out how to design it, i have tried using the U shape stairs and the spiral staircase but nothing looks right, i need 3 treads to start with that are normal rectangular treads then 3 treads that have a kite shape to them then back to normal rectangle stairs. all the methods i have tried so far the treads end up distorted and all different shapes or the stringer ends up bowed and at an odd shape, i need the stringers to be straight and most of the treads to be the same size and shape of rectangular.
