Is there a way to update to 2025 and retain the individual's settings?

We're using AutoCAD Architecture 2023. One member tries to stay updated each year with new system.

Other member doesn't like to update, since the update then changes the individualized settings. 

Is there a way to update and retain the individual's settings?

What individual settings are these please?

Has anyone just tried testing a 2025 install using the migration tools offered yet, discussed in 2025's HELP that your one colleague might be able to share or online here for example
