What is OMF and how can I start to use it?

I want to learn to code for ACARCH and ACMEP and I heard about OMF is related to this, is there a guide or course?

1 I noticed than in the shared link exist a zip file with multiple files with suffix arx and dbx, is this all the OMF, or there exist more to download?

2 I found some comments than mention I just can get OMF since https://adndata.autodesk.io/applicants/appstart.asp , but request billing card, this means than is not available for students?
