Vertical dimensions in vertical views

I drew a house and added the vertical dimensions in the front view.

However, in the SE isometric view these dimensions are not attached to the objects but appear far away causing trouble when switching views.

We can't see what you can, but if you missed snapping to the content then changing UCS rotation will expose that for sure: share your DWG or screenshots when you can.

Check the value of the ELEVATION System Variable in the drawing where you are having this issue.

In a test file, ELEVATION was initially set to 0, and the dimensions (AutoCAD and AEC) placed in a plan view all showed up at Z = 0 in a SW Isometric view of the same model.  But when I changed the value of ELEVATION, the dimensions were placed a Z = the value of ELEVATION.  When the dimensions were 20 feet above the top of the tallest modeled element, it was hard to associate the dimensions with the dimensioned item in an isometric view.
