Working in AutoCAD 2021, I am attempting to move a 2D object (line, object, block, etc) and align it to the midpoint of another object/line. You would select the object you want to move/copy and then hover over the midpoint of what you want to align to until MIDPOINT is called out, and then move the object in the direction you want until the apparent intersection/alignment with the other midpoint is shown. This would allow you to move something such that it aligned with another item. I have followed all of the recommendations in AutoCAD but none have resolved the issue. (checked for updates, turned off and on osnap settings, turned off MOCOOPTIMIZE. Any suggestions? Thanks!
