Trouble with MEP file

I've been tasked with making as-built changes to a drawing created in AutoCAD MEP.  When I open the drawing in AutoCAD MEP or AutoCAD Architecture, I get text that says MapsContainer (Maps_Solids) where I believe dimensions or text should be. Does anybody have a suggestion on how I correct this problem?

Thanks, James

Those are Proxy Graphics. You need an object enabler for FabricationMEP (aka CadDuct)

Thanks. That helped. The text and dims are restored to the drawings. I'm still having an issue though. When I plot to pdf the text on one of the two drawings rotates and piggy-backs other text instead of retaining its orientation and position. The other drawing the text remains oriented and positioned correctly when I plot to pdf. Any thoughts? I've attached a couple pics.

Hard to say if you're only using an Object Enabler. I've got the full program. You probably don't have access to any of the tools.

Maybe try rotating the UCS (followed by a REGENALL).

I have a yearly subscription to AutoCAD so I have the full version of AutoCAD MEP 2019. Are there tools to correct this problem? I've never really worked in this MEP workspace and I'm not sure about rotating the UCS for fear of not matching the pdf's. I'm doing as-built corrections and the finished drawings must match the previous pdf's (plus corrections). Any other suggestions.

Acad MEP and CadMEP are two completely different programs (both are really just plug-ins for AutoCad, although both are Autodesk products).

I suggested altering the UCS b/c both of the images show the same physical area, just the notes are different.

Are the Pipe layouts 2 separate files or 1 Xref? It is strange that the Pipe labels would be distorted like that,

If you have a subscription you may be licensed to use CadMEP/Fabrication. Even if you aren't, you can install a free 30-day trial of the full product.

You may get a more informed answer if you post this in the Fabrication Products forum. I'm no expert on CadMEP. The usual command to rotate Pipe/Duct labels is ROTTEXT, but I suspect there is a better solution.

Another solution would be to go back to whoever supplied the file and get them to fix it.
