Status Bar Toggle Requires Restart

Since upgrading to 2024, I noticed that changing the STATUSBAR system variable to turn the status bar on or off, requires that I restart AutoCAD in order to see the change take effect.  Is anyone else getting this?  Is there another system variable that is causing this?  Never had this issue in AutoCAD 2019, which is what I was using before.

@cprieb ACA2019 did not offer this exact setting, it was a later change you missed out on a few years back after your old year version and we've all sort of adapted to in general now.
