Right way to add a floor

I usually use mass elements to add floor elements in a multi floor building.

1. I wonder if this is the best way to add a floor element.

2. How can I create a 2 layers floor (something like wall components where one wall is made of 2 or more materials) - What that I want is to create a floor which is made of concrete at the bottom and tiles above it.

Slabs can have multiple components, and are intended to model Floors.

Thanks for your advice. I also find the "Apply tools property to" - "Lineworks and walls" helpful.

1. I understand that a slab can have slab edges. Is it correct to draw the slab under the entire width of the wall and then assign the wall material to the slab edges, so rendering will show the wall material along the walls including the slab edge itself?

If this is correct, how the slab edge should be set for a thin slab edge that will cover entire side of the slab?

2. Is it possible to add a hole to a slab based on existing stairs?

I marked the slab and clicked on Modify>Hole>Add. Make sure you have a polyline drawn and closed in the size of the required hole first.
