How to use navigator

good morning ,

i like to know how to work with navigator because i want to draw on a drawing (construcrion) and at the same time seeing the others also if they are not active , and when i finished that part i want to switch to another drawing always seeing the others .. Is it possible in a quickly way ?

did anyone  understandmy question ? I tried with construcrion  and view but it seems complicated to make it like i want ...

i make an example to let understand better, i work on the first floor and when i have made it i work on the second , but it is on a second file so to see both at the same time i have to use the first as xrif by dragging it inside the drawing , and when i work on any construction the way to see the others is to make the xrif , but this way is uncomfortable for me because anytime i draw on a construction i have to drag the external drawings i need, it would be more comfortable to have a series of drawings to turn on and of , that is in some way possible with views as i saw, but the problem is that i cant draw inside the single parts of a view but only on the view itself that is not what i want ...  did i miss something ?

ok as anyone didnt reply i made a scheme of how it should be made for me to be more comfortable and well made

i made it on the view tab but it can be made similarly in construction .. with that system you can turn on the view you need and keep the drawing you need writable,  instead of open a drawing and make all the references every time

The AutoCAD Architecture Project Management System, which includes Project Navigator, is based on external references.  If you set up your Constructs and Views as intended, AutoCAD Architecture will "know" to make the lower level Construct an overlaid external reference when you drag it into an upper level Construct.

There may be some manual setup initially, but the external references will be retained going forward (assuming you save the file).  You can use the Show External References tool at the bottom of the Constructs or Views tab to get a popup of all of the external references in the selected item and then easily Unload/Load any of the references to hide/show it.  Or you can use AutoCAD tools (External References Manager or Layer Properties Manager) to control visibility.

ok, thank you for you reply , i am new to the program so i am starting these days to understand it , i knew Allplan before,  it seems good to me for some things and now i understood that for working with multiple drawings at the same time you have to make it from the view tab and edit them as xrifs, but the thing that is annoying to me is that every time when you open them you have to pass through a dialog box (edit xrif) , and press enter , then edit it , and then again you have another dialog to confirm (save changes) , it seems annoying to me because it is a process that when you make a design you pass through many times, (for example passing form one floor to another of the building) and the thing of passing through all these confirmation windows slows the process of designing quite ..

You can open the external reference, rather than editing it in place.  You can leave them open if you expect to return to them frequently for the task at hand.  You would have to reload the external reference in the other file to see any saved changes, but you should get a popup notifying you of the changes with a link to reload it.
