I am aware there is a 3-1/2" batt insulation component in the 2018 version of AutoCAD Architecture as when I search under the content catalog, I am able to select 3-1/2" Acoustical Batt Insulation and insert it into my drawings using the i-drop tool. However this is quite the hassle every time I want to load in insulation.
Does anyone know of a way to load this specific insulation component into the detail component manager so that when I use the Batt Insulation tool in the Tool Palette window, I am able to choose the 3-1/2" insulation from the component option selections in the properties window?
The help would much appreciated,
- Bryan

The tool palette tool could be added to an editable tool palette, for easier access. It is also available in the out-of-the-box palettes for US Imperial content, in the Detailing tool palette group, on the Interiors tool palette.
The tool runs the same command that is run from the Detail Component Manager, and that component is available there, too. Look in Division 09 - Finishes > 09 81 00 - Acoustic Insulation > Acoustical Insulation.
