How to change my tool palette back

I am hoping someone can help. I managed to change my basic tool palette to the 3D one and don't know how to get it back. Any suggestions?

What you are seeing is called a ribbon rather than a tool palette.  The appearance is controlled by your workspace settings.  There should be a toolbar icon that looks like a gear on your status bar (bottom).  Click that and choose another workspace, such as 2D Drafting and Design.  The command name is wssettings.
