Hi Pros,

I am using 2014 version and trying to add this SH window to a 2x4 wall. The window frame is too tick for the 2x4.

Can anyone please teach me how to correct this?

thank you.

Was there meant to be an attachment?  If so, it did not come through.

Hi @Anonymous,

There are 2 ways you can edit Window width within AutoCAD Architecture. Here are two AKN Articles, one is changing the width using the properties palette and the other is through the style manager.

I hope this helps answer your question!

If you are talking about the Depth of the Window Frame being too deep for your nominal 2x4 Wall, then you need to know that the Frame Depth can be controlled in one of two ways:  it can be set to an explicit depth value or it can be set to match the depth of the Wall in which the Window is anchored.

Both are set in the same place, in the Window Style, on the Dimensions tab.  Refer to the second link that @Tiana_Y  posted.

Oh, and belated "Welcome to the community!"
