Does anyone know how to create two double-hung windows that are mulled together to be one window, then have it show up in the window schedule as one window?

One possible method, if you can make it work for what you want to see in the schedule, would be to use a Door/Window Assembly for your mulled windows and have your schedule include Door/Window Assemblies.  You will need to filter out the Windows used as infill in the Door/Window Assembly, if you do not want to see those in the schedule.

One thing that could be a deal-breaker is that Door/Window Assemblies do not offer all of the properties that Windows do, so, depending upon what properties you show in your schedule, you may have to "get creative" to end up with an equivalent schedule that includes both Windows and Door/Window Assemblies.

Using a Door/Window Assembly Style, as stated, is arguably the "right" way to solve this problem.  However, also stated by David, the DWA Object does not work like a Window Object and may prove more problematic than it is worth.  For example, no option for Inside/Outside of Frame.

As a work-around, we at ARCHIdigm created an alternative solution by replacing the default guts of a Picture Window Style with a Block of one or more Window Objects belonging to other Window Style(s).  The main drawback is that Blocks inside AEC Objects will scale relative to the AEC Object.

I have attached a sample DHDH Window Object from our Window Style eKit.
