Hangs on startup

Hello Community,

I have posted this problem in the past, but it still persists.

My ACA2016 will hang, but generally only after I have started my computer after it has been turned off.

No matter when during the boot process I try to run ACA2016, it will hang.

I have to re-start my computer to get it to work.

What is different about starting the computer from being turned off, and re-starting it?

What could be causing the hang after a boot?

Any help would be appreciated,

No idea: have you talked to your IT folks, or your IT outsource person about it?

In the meantime why don't you get some diagnostics tools to find out what is actually going on with your PC. Start with a free one called PROCESSMONITOR, start it before you start AutoCAD. The results from that are massive and best reviewed by someone in IT/Technology at your office (or hire one for the morning).

I don't feel that is a serious enough problem to call in an expensice IT person.

I will probably get a new computer before the end of the year.
