Door / window assembly custom graphic

I am trying to add custom graphic to my door/window assembly (a dashed red line 2” above the window) to show on my 2d section / elevation but it never show up on my 2d section / elevation.

I included a drawing with what I am trying to do, I put an example of what I want on the right.

Hi @E-Lavoie,

You will not be able to show an idem in a display representation unless the item exists in the object/assembly.

Try adding the dashed line to the assembly and then add it for display in the elevation display representation only. If not it will appear in all display representations but this is probably not what you want.

Even when y apply it to the frame and i put replace graphic it does not show.

Hi @E-Lavoie,

In this case you have to select the specific frame definition to which you're adding this new Display Component on the Assembly.

Also, you should create a new frame assignement for the Top part of the frame to ensure it doesn't get applied to all the Assembly edges.

WOW tx a lot, thats the result i want, i tryed almost the same thing on another try , i most have done somethingwrong somewhere, but with that video i should be able to get it right.

Ok, my dash line is there on my 2d section elevation, this part is perfect. But since they are behind my windows trim, i dont see them 😛

I created a component on my 2d section elevation to show my dash line, when they are hidden, only probleme  i got, it show all the dash line on the house, even the one behind the house. Any idea how i can correct this ?

I included a file with all my drawing. The dash line are only on the second floor.
