There are automatic properties for Width and Height of Doors and Windows (Doors also offer combined size properties, with special formatting for certain types of pairs), and Spaces have automatic properties for Length and Width (you may want to experiment with those on non-orthogonal and non-rectangular Spaces to see if the automatic values meet your needs). Any of those property values can be included in a custom tag.
Do you need assistance with how to add references to those property values to a Schedule Tag?
Thanx for answers ..
Yes ı want to help about that how add reference to those property values to a Schedule Tag.
Thanx for your answer . I hope you understand me . I dont want just see dimensions schedule .I also want to see on plan when ı added door ,windows..
Another topic , space tag with material ..
Like this?
My metric is in mm, and I did not make the effort to modify the values to show cm (or create a Property Data Format to add the " cm", either). I assumed the "material" in the room tag was the Floor Material. The tags, and the view blocks associated with the tags, are in the attached DWG file, done in AutoCAD Architecture 2021 (2018 file format).
I suppose you will want more than the opportunity to reverse engineer what I did, but it is getting late here, and a detailed description will have to wait for another day. Or you can look up tag creation in the Help, if you are in a hurry.
Yes like that your file . thanx so much everthing. I tired it but.Windows tag can be vertical .Can we put automatic posisson ?Vertical or horizontal? And how add you ceramic ? Thanx for everything...
I solved that how add ceramic material. Another question. Can ı add automatic door tag ,window tag? For example when ı added a door or windows , ı want to see with tag automatic..

If you create a Tag tool on a Tool Palette, you can set Rotate to object property the of the Tag (under the Tag category) to Yes, and that should adjust the rotation of the Tag, based on the orientation of the object being tagged. I do not usually do that, so you will want to experiment with that to make certain that the Tag comes in as desired for any orientation. You may need to adjust the Attribute text angle property (at the botton, under the Text category) setting to get what you need.

You can specify a Tag for Spaces in a Space tool palette tool, and that Tag will be added when you add the Space. There is no such feature for Doors and Windows. I vaguely recall, many years back, someone had suggested creating a block of a tagged Door or Window, making a tool to insert the block, exploding on insert. I cannot remember if they were using un-hosted (no Wall) Doors/Windows or not. I also do not remember what limitations there may have been to that workflow, or what additional efforts needed to be done (move the Door or Window to a Wall in the project and delete the host Wall from the block, perhaps?). You would also have to adjust the size if what was in the block was not what you needed. It was not a perfect solution, in any event, but may have worked for a few.
Once you tag one object in your drawing, there is a command-line option called Multiple that you can use. That will allow you to select multiple additional objects of the same object type, and tag them all. You can pick them individually, use a crossing window, window or fence or you can simply type ALL to select all of the objects of that type in the file. If you select objects that are already tagged, no worries - you will be prompted about that and asked if you want to tag them again. You can enter No to not add tags to those already tagged. This is what my office does when we want to add tags quickly, since there is no easy way to automatically add a tag on placement.* Note that the tags will be added to those objects selected under Multiple based on the orientation of the first tag you place. You will likely need to adjust the tag locations on some objects, but it is still faster than tagging one-by-one.
* - It may be possible, using AutoLISP reactors, to have tags applied to newly added objects of a given type. AutoLISP reactor programs are not something for the novice AutoLISP programmer; I have avoided going down that path myself because a poorly written reactor can cause serious issues in a drawing file. There may be third-party developers who offer an auto-tag program (if anyone is still writing such things for AutoCAD Architecture).
Hi,
there is a task I need to do that is related to this discussion. I need to add a text next to the windows where it indicate the sill height of the window (see picture attached). It might be called balustrade in english, I really don´t know. My guess is that to achieve this I should do a custom tag that only shows the sill height of the window plus a custom text (BRH in my case, german for sill height). My goal is that if I have to change the windows sizes, this number get automatically updated. When I tag a window with the default window tag, before placing the tag an "Edit property Set Data" window pops up and there I can see the sill height of my window but I don´t know how to make this the only number that appear in my tag plus the custom text. Could anyone help me here?
I actually found the way to do the Tag I wanted but the problem I found now is that they don´t align to the windows, so in the floorplan they appear only horizontal. I look into the attribute properties and there is no option for align automatically to the object tag. How can I do this?
