Cannot copy a custom tool palette to the Content Browser

I am in the process of rolling out Archuitecture 2016 and updating my palettes.  I have creatred my palettes and they work great.  I opened the Content Browser and created a new catalog, that works great.  I copied over a few of my custom palettes and that worked great.  I tried to copy over the next one and Content Browser crashes.  I figured ok maybe I have a path incorrect.  Checked all of those and they are all pointing to the correct network path.  I then tried to copy over one of the palettes that I had previously copied that worked and it crashed the Content Browser.  Ok this is weird.  I rebootred the system set the profile back to the OOTB version and tried to copy a palette Content Browser goes to a not responding mode.  Now these are with OOTB palettes.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what could be causing this?  I have been creating palettes like this for years and have never had a problem like this until this version.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.  As a side note I went to a machine that had a fresh install and got the same result.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting your question here. I'm sorry you're running into this issue.

Have you migrated any settings from a previous version of AutoCAD Architecture?

Do you have any special characters in your Windows User Name?

If you log into the machine's local Adminstrator account, does the same issue occur?

Do you have any antivirus or security programs installed that could be interfering?

What is your User Account Control set to?

Do you have any other versions of AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD MEP installed on the machine? (If so, try this fix.)

I'm sorry that I interfere, SP1 does not solve this problem?

In my MEP 2016 SP1 is this value >>

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{76877852-957f-41df-80a2-40baf9dd0dd6}\InProcServer32]
@="C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Autodesk Shared\\AcInetEngineps20.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Both"
