Title says it all.  Tried right-clicking on ribbon -- show panels, but 'build' is not even displayed.  Architecture 2016.

thank you

I lost you.  I followed your instruction all the way from C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ACA 20xx\enu\Support".  Then I lost you after "Support".  I don't know what to do to install cuix.  Please show me in detail.

Regards,

Henry

We are even, because I have lost you as well.  Are you responding to Message 9 (from over two years ago)?  That appears to have the text you quoted.  I am not certain what you are asking.  The Support folder is where you should find your copy of the ACA.cuix file that ships with the program, provided that you had all of the support files installed in the default location when the program was installed.

You specify what CUIX file you want as your main CUIX file in the Options dialog, on the Files tab, under the Customization Files node, under the Main Customization File.  See the image below, and ignore the fact that my folder is on my 😧 drive.**  The "ACA" at the end of path/file under my Main Customization File node indicates that I am using the ACA.cuix file for my main customization file.  If you see "ACAD" there instead, then you are using the vanilla AutoCAD customization file and you will not have a Build panel on the Home ribbon tab.2019-01-17_ACA2019_Options_Files_CustomizationFiles_MainCustomization.png

** - Prior to a recent upgrade to my C: drive, I was extremely tight on space on C: drive, so I moved my support files for AutoCAD Architecture 2019 to 😧 drive (same folder structure), where I had plenty of room.

If you are running AutoCAD Architecture, the ACA.cuix should really be your main customization file.

Previous references to "transfer" in this thread are to the Transfer tab of the Customize User Interface dialog, which is used to transfer customizations between two customization files (CUIX).

I'm having Autocad 2022 (not LT) which is supposed to have an architecture toolset. In review videos, I saw that this is what the 'build' panel was. I haven't been able to turn it on/make it show. In customization there's only an .acad file. What can I do?

The "architecture toolset" (AKA "AutoCAD Architecture") is available to you if you have the "One.AutoCAD" subscription to AutoCAD.  It is a separate download and install - but no worries, if you have already installed AutoCAD, it will not reinstall those files over again, it will just add the AutoCAD Architecture files.

You should see it in your Autodesk Account.  You may have to click on the "View Items" button on the line showing AutoCAD to access the download links for the "toolsets".

Hi

I’ve install auto Cad 2022; I’m having issues locating the build panel to gain access to the wall tool. I’m currently using the educational/ student version.

I’ve searched every where and I can’t locate the correct answer

Hi,
Please make sure that you installed the Autocad Architecture program.
Versus the standard Autocad.
Second, go to "options" and under "profiles" verify that you have the
"Autocad Architecture" selected and is set as "current"

@Anonymous Installing plain AutoCAD only gets you plain AutoCAD. Plain AutoCAD has no ARCHITECTURE tools.

If you want AutoCAD ARCHITECTURE you need to install a different software as explained above and here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRBCsWThlvE
