BSOD when exiting AutoCAD Architecture

Yesterday, when exiting the program to shut down the computer, I received  a blue screen of death. After an hour I just shut down the computer with the power button, as it should have been only about a few minutes. When I reloaded ACA it gave the recovery option, but my file has errors. My question to you, as I can fix the drawing, how do I restore the top menu? When I click on down arrow to the right of the A, and select show menu bar, on the command line I get "No menus are defined."  Here's the pics.

No Top MenuNo Top MenuDown ArrowDown Arrow

I tried to reinstall ACA, but the computer said it's already installed and wouldn't let me proceed. I didn't want to un-install and re-install and loose my settings. Is there a way I can restore ACA system files? to get the Menu to reload?

Are you trying to turn the ribbon back on?  Type RIBBON at the command line and press the ENTER key.

If you are looking for pull-down menus, then you likely were using a customized customization file, as the out-of-the-box ACA.cuix file had the pull-down menus removed when the ribbon was fully implemented (2010 release).

The RIBBON didn't load. Here's what I got.

Thanks for the link. I was able to do all the tasks in the link, but ACA wasn't finding files.

I just un-installed and re-installed and it's now working. I'm going to have to reset my CUI.

This is a lesson I've learned, do daily backups.

It's been quite a while since I saved my profile. Can someone show me where the "save my profile" option is?

When I do my backup, I'll back up my drawings and my profile.

Options dialog, Profiles tab.  Select the profile and choose the Export button.  Give the ARG file a meaningful name (it defaults to the current drawing name).

You are also going to want to back up your main CUIX file, which is not part of the profile export.  Among other things, that is where your workspaces are saved.  If you have any custom partial customization files (the best place for customizations that can be in a partial file), back those up, too.
