Annotative Blocks Model Space Text Huge

Good Afternoon,

Recently our office has upgraded our subscription and we have all moved over to AutoCad 2018/ AutoCad Architecture 2018. We have annotative blocks for our room name/room number. Everything appears correctly for me in AutoCad 2018, however, a colleague using AutoCad Architecture 2018 is having display issues. Our settings appear to be similar, but his model space and paper space text sizes are absurdly large. After reading another post I was able to clear up the issue by using Audit + Regen. The problem persisted whenever the file was reopened.

Has anyone else had similar issues? Does anyone have a working solution?

I've attached screenshots of how the blocks look on my screen (correct) and how the same file looks on my colleagues screen (absurdly large).

Thank you in advance

Annotative Text by chance and the user simply needs to change the CANNOSCALE setting? That's what your pictures look like.

My co-worker is having the same issue. We have tried the CANNOSCALE command. It didn't help. Do you have any other possible solutions? Thank you

Show us your problem: share an actual DWG file with the problem center in the screen when we open the file.

I have attached a screenshot of my co-workers computer and one from my computer. Plus the cad dwg.

The only difference in our system is that he has windows 10 and I have windows 7. This happens on all the drawings he opens. Thank you.

Thanks for that, but I cannot replicate the issue here in Win10

Why don't you both turn this on and try again

I tried that. It didn't fix the issue. 😞

We just noticed something else. Every time he opens the drawing it increases the text size. I have attached the same cad dwg from before that he saved.

Simply selecting 1:1 then back to 1/8" seemed to fix it: the #1 solution for annotative text issues around these forums.

It also tells me you needed to do more that just turn on that feature, you had to reset all the text again. I need to remember to add that to my future explanations.
