Adding and Modifying Detail Components

I am using AutoCAD Architecture 2023...

I am working on a project that is using Long Span Joists (40LH & 44LH).  I know how to add them to the database, but my question is how do I modify their dimensions?

For instance, after selecting the 40LH from the Detail Component Manager and then adding it to my drawing in an elevation view, when I select it and click on the Extended Data tab, all of the detail component data is greyed out.  AutoCAD has drawn it by default using an L9x4x0.625; how do I change that to an L6x6x0.75?

I am familiar with Microsoft Access, but it does not appear that I can make the change in there.  If it is an .xml change that I need to make, how do I do that?  If it is something else, please help me, Obi Wan...

Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

I'm running 2023 and can't replicate your issue. I did blow up my database while tinkering so, watch out for that.  The selections for chord size, bearing lengths etc. are made during the placement of the detail.  The detail parameters are not dynamic after it's been placed.

You can replace the detail by using the shortcut menu,
