How can I open An AutoCad temp. file as an
autocad drawing file

Change the extension to .dwg.

I've tried changing the file extension to "dwg"

First, you have to set Windows Explorer to show you the file extensions.
Then you can rename the extensions.

PLUS, in case you don't know, BAK and SV$ are the only extensions you can
rename to DWG, nothing else, not even those AC$ that show up everywhere.

Thanks, change the windows explorer to show file
extension. it worked
