My ArtCAM 2015 R2 won't open because the PAF Error = 4 Line = 8191 comes up and says that it cannot locate the licence. I have tried some of the people's advice from the past articles but even when I go into the different folders to check such as Program Files> Common Files> Delcam> .paf there is no Delcam file. As far as I'm aware I have installed the program and PAF wizard and all of that stuff and I have the correct Windows 7 64-bit. I'm just not sure what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

You registered to join the Autodesk Community using a Hotmail account, so an email was sent from artcam-online-support@autodesk.com to that email address.

Although I'm able to locate dongle number 215293 in the legacy Delcam customer database, it is not registered in your name, and there is no record of your email address either.
Please confirm who supplied you with the dongle number in your possession, and when. Since this could potentially involve the personal information of a third party, please provide this information by private message.

I will arrange for a copy of the PAF Licence file (*.paf) in question to be sent to the registered owner when I return to the office tomorrow morning; I'm based in the United Kingdom, and it is outside of business hours now.

Looking at your post here, would I be correct in thinking that you have sucessfully installed your ArtCAM Express software and associated PAF Licence file (CHR103-01P.paf)? Please confirm.

As Autodesk appears to no longer make paf & elf files available you may be SOL.
What you don't say is what lead up to the error message, did it happen after a win update? is it an install to a new computer? what?.
If it was previously working then I expect the paf will still be on the computer and possibly be retrievable. A little more info would be helpful

My artcam 2015 stopped working and my paf file don't seem to work anymore
Also when i install my license file it says
"Latest license file installed successfully
You must restart ArtCAM to use your new license.
Would you like to restart now?"
If i click yes it restarts the demo and asks for license file again

Dillon is no longer working for AutoDesk.
If the software said to restart then by all means restart, this may correct your situation.

Copy of the Paf to your desktop, go to the below folders and delete all PAF files.
(C:\Program Files\Common Files\Delcam)
(C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Delcam)
Depending on your version, there could also be some found in (C:\dcam\config\pass)
Once all have been removed, open ArtCAM. When it asks to install the license file, point it to your PAF on the desktop.

Good day! My ArtCAM Express 2013 won't open because the PAF Error = 4 Line = 8191. I bought Delcam 2013 my Dongle is 164317.
This key with the program was bought by me along with the CNC machine.
Everything worked on the old computer. On the new no. What should I do?
Don't have my list of error codes with me but believe your issue is you did not copy your paf file over to the new machine.
