GPU rendering IPR display error issue.

请指教,我有一个简单的测试场景,其中使用 CPU 模式渲染时 IPR 显示正常,切换到 GPU 模式后立即报告错误,我需要帮助,我不知道出了什么问题,我会上传屏幕截图。01_cpu.jpg02_gpu.jpg03_log.jpg

When running a render, Arnold automatically converts textures to TX files. From the log it seems that the TX generation fails. Maybe it's because of the Chinese characters in the folders. Can you try moving the textures to a folder that has only Latin characters to see if that solves the problem?

 

Could you also check the Arnold Tx Manager? I'm wondering if it finds the textures properly or not.

You can try converting to TX from the Tx Manager dialog, but I suspect it will also fail.

我觉得你说的对,不过希望增加针对中文的优化,一方面中国用户群体庞大(需要提升用户体验),一方面redshift,octane以及其他方面优化的很好,希望Arnold和他们互相学习。 我上传了两张截图,第一张是tx manager的截图,第二张是最近发现的问题:即在C4D 2024.4.0中关闭再重新打开同一个项目后,发现Arnold材质变成了c4d的默认材质,而且几乎每次都会出现,请大家注意。谢谢

We definitely want to fix this problem with the non-Latin characters in the path.

 

Regarding the other problem, where the standard material appears, this can happen when the Arnold node descriptions are not loaded properly. Which sounds like a problem with the plugin installation. Does it happen randomly? I suppose you can not create any Arnold Node Materials when this happens. Can you try re-installing the plugin to see if that helps?

Well, thank you very much for your answer, I am from octane render users to redshift users and then to the current Arnold users, I sincerely hope that Arnold is getting better and better, the current use of the experience feel the biggest highlights are: Arnold rendering output image quality is very high, stronger than the first two (especially in the volume of the fog), a little rarity is the GPU speed and quality, there are some rendering functions GPU is not as good as the CPU, the other is the speed, I hope the development team with the help of the current NVIDIA technology (DLSS3, light pursuit, etc.) to improve. In the elimination of noise tested in the frosted glass material scene there are some noise in the GPU mode is difficult to eliminate, need to use the CPU rendering, but this reduces the speed advantage of the GPU, if you try to reduce the noise function will lose a lot of details (so this will wear out the Arnold rendering out of the high quality of the advantages of the map). Lastly, thanks a lot for your judgement, you were spot on, it was a plugin installation issue, after reinstalling this issue disappeared, thanks again.
