Arnold shaders missing in Houdini (Arnold trial licence)

Hello,

I am trying to figure out will i buy Arnold licence or not. Trying to see what shaders it has and how they look inside houdini.
Especially interested in UDIM support shaders and skin shader.
I was looking at this tutorial.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuqtY7aWwvs&list=PLJW_LVbUORhnTKPrtxy_9MJAFxqrGJZZc&index=4

He went to "Shop" network and was able to create a Arnold shader.
I do not have it.
if i go to shop network i can only create arnold_vopnet1 node
When i dive inside of that node i have OUT_material node nothing else
If i press "tab" i will have this option:

Am i missing something? Doesnt Arnold have its own nodes?

You have to go into the vopnet and then you can add Arnold nodes.

Press tab and type "standard"

Or press tab and expand the "Surface" submen

I am having a similar issue. well, sort of. I am using the trial to evaluate the render. I am missing the shaders in the shop, and mat contexts and I have no vop for Arnold. I have the dropdown menu and the rop. in the dropdown, it is missing the lights and volume creation that redshift has. I am assuming these are missing too.

here is my hou.env

# NOTE: The use of packages is highly recommended instead of houdini.env
# See details about packages here: https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini19.5/ref/plugins.html
#
# Houdini Environment Settings
#
# The contents of this file are read into the environment
# at startup. They will override any existing entries in
# the environment.
#
# The syntax is one entry per line as follows:
# VAR = VALUE

# Values may be quoted
# VAR = "VALUE"
#
# Values may be empty
# VAR =

# Example:
#
# HOUDINI_NO_SPLASH = 1

# htoa config start

My guess is you have the wrong Python version of HtoA.

The default HtoA download is Python 3.9, which will work with the default Houdini download.

The HtoA download with no "py" extension is the Python 3.9 version.

Also, I think it's better to start a new thread than reply to a four-year old thread.

I have the same problem, I have tried everything and nothing works. I'm going crazy, I've been trying for a week. It's a very expensive product to have so many problems.
