How is this related to Arnold? The question sounds like you get an error when you create something in the Maya user interface. Arnold has nothing to do with that.

What's the imported geometry?

What's the full error message?

Hello,


Sounds like you have to set the project first.

Also try if the last part did not work, to remove the maya pref folder and try again.
